Due to the serious situation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria, many from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands continue to evacuate to the continental United States (CONUS).

Chautauqua County Flooding (2015 & 2016)
The NYVOAD mobilized on July 20th to support the WNY VOAD in responding to needs for debris removal and clean-up. The following agencies have been part of the discussions with many taking an active role in the response:

Update: August 6, 2016
The NYVOAD has been asked to provide support for the long term recovery of those impacted by the flooding in Chautauqua County. Those agencies listed in the Member Directory which have indicated the capacity to meet the unmet needs of the residents have been contacted and asked to participate in a conference call to coordinate the response, particularly in the categories of rebuild and repair. If your agency has not been contacted and you would like to offer your support, please let us know (email@example.com) and we will include you in our response. Thank you.
